Has anyone used a market research company successfully for start ups? I’m trying to find some specific data points to quantify a pain point and hoping to leverage an external company to help in the interest of time. Coming from big companies, I know some of the big ones but curious if there are any small and nimble agencies that do cost effective market research work for start ups that you’ve liked? (I’ll caveat with we’re continuing to do loads of customer convos and experiments)

My work gives us points/money for achieving certain activities such as exercising for 180 mins per week. I have my Apple Watch automatically sync with the app that tracks our activities and it works great. Problem is I started using NRC (Nike run Club) app for runs and it interferes with the Workout app on my Apple Watch and it doesn’t get tracked. Has anyone found a way for the NRC and Workout app to run simultaneously (pun intended)?

I just left my pre-seed startup that was running out of cash (we made $100,000 in revenue this year, and sunk $1m in costs). I was making $40,000 as a developer (plus 20k stock options at $1/share per year) and they refused to pay me any more money. How do you know what your passion is? I mean I think a lot about golf but i don’t think that’s a passion. It’s my hobby. I think most people just know.
