I am seeing stellar returns and extremely low expense ratios but apparently since they're quantitatively managed algorithms, they don't account for things like corona for example.

You said the minimum you would take is $150k. Why would they offer more?
I mean, you asked for 150 and that’s what they offered you. Not so weird to hear that one company offered you 160 and another thought a similar role was worth 140/150

You came back with your minimum and they met it- you kinda made your bed here. Are you saying that your real minimum is 160 or are there reasons you like this position more
Regardless, all the numbers mentioned here seem low for a VP role. I guess it depends on industry and role scope but I’d have thought TC would be closer to 250
Different companies, different comp? Any variable bonus comp to consider?
It’s probably at a bank / financial firm where VP is the equivalent of title / role of manager in a consulting firm
Or not US based - does sound well within range for Western Europe for example

My bottom dollar is $150 or I don’t take it.... ok, how does 150 sound?
I know treasury analysts making $150k. What size company is this? That sounds like manager or senior manager offer

Most jobs have a band, range to be within. Think as long as you are within that, then it’s fine.
That’s low for VP. I joined startegy role at $175k base two years ago.
Doesn’t sound like a VP level role based on the salary, unless there is a very significant equity piece and you are doing some kind of favor to take partial salary. Our MBA hires at senior consultant level make more than that.
This is a treasury role? So it’s more operations? Sounds about right
sounds like u messed up negotiations
