Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

The NBA is a laughable organization, it’s ran out of pure moral credentialing - there’s no substance or fairness whatsoever. Ime Udoka had a consensual affair and got suspended for a year. Draymond Green unwarrantedly knocks out at a coworker and GSW said he wasn’t looking at a game suspension. Now that the video was released the team is “aggressively investigating” the leak - as if that were worse than knocking out a teammate. What a joke
Correcting grammar. Didn’t realize this was 10th grade
I’d hardly say draymond ruined Jordan’s career

Have you ever attended football camp? Hockey camp? I bet in soccer someone walks in the same room and someone falls and fakes death.
In this case one guy pushes another and isn't prepared to get hit. Come on, I'd suspend the idiot that started it, not the jerk that ended it.

BCG, if Green head bumbs Poole, you're right, Green started it. If he just got in his face then Poole got what he deserved. If Poole did some dirty crap in the drill, Green should have just retaliated in the next drill.
But if Poole pushed out of fear and no contact from Green first, he got what he deserved. You push someone you are starting a fight.
My take comes from growing up in what Detroiters thought was a bad part of town. Saginaw has some real rough parts for a smaller city. Push equals first strike. At least where I grew up chest bumbs weren't treated like pushes.
I can't justify the rules. They were just known. Push and not ready to block and counter? Wake up in 5 minutes. Back on the court or ice in 30 minutes.
I punched the CFO of my company (I was an analyst) once. We were pretty good friends and both drunk out of our mind - we laughed it off the next day.
Nope.
