I started a new job just 7 weeks ago, but an opportunity for a dream job just suddenly and unexpectedly fell into my lap! It’s a lot more money, more aligned with my career goals, and will have better work life balance. I’d be an idiot to not take this great new opportunity! That being said… I’m going to feel bad leaving this new job so soon. I’m sure they’ll be disappointed and maybe even angry… is there any way to NOT burn bridges on my way out of this current job?

What are some common exit opps for strategy (MBB) consultants in London?

Got an invitation for Deloitte mini assessment centre (online) for senior consultant position. There is a written exercise, senior manager interview, case presentations and a director interview in the schedule.
Anyone got any pointers for any/all of the stages. Struggling to find any prep for the written exercise.

How long does it take for you all to commute to work normally? I am moving to Woking soon and am looking to land a consulting gig in London. It will take me 10-20 min to get to the train station, and from then on the train to Waterloo takes 30 mins. Not sure if that’s going to be too long a daily commute by UK standard?
