Go to EY for Manager one position in private client derives or Deloitte? Which gives better resources. Which has better people. Everyone that I interviewed with were great so it’s hard decision! Pay is way more at Deloitte with sign on bonus higher than EY for manager one position.

What is a good interview answer for leaving a job after a few months when the real reason is that you’re sleeping with one eye open in hopes of not being on the chopping block after two rounds of massive layoffs? Company culture is at an all-time low, and it will only go down from here from what I’ve seen in the short months I’ve been there.

Thoughts on mentioning poker as a side hustle in an interview? I have a 5-month resume gap in which I played poker professionally to pay the bills while applying to other jobs. If they ask about the resume gap, should I even mention it?

I feel like it's one of those things that could be a big differentiator if the recruiter is open-minded. But some people (understandably) view poker as pure gambling rather than an exercise in probability/game theory.

I am preparing for the data structures and algo for 2 months (1-2 problems daily). It takes atleast 1-1.5 hours to try solving a new problem and understanding a solution. Not able to take out that much time as wlb is bad in current company. Also now I don’t get calls from good companies. Hello! Any tips on entering big law upon graduation. Currently, a 3L at a New York school (not top ranked), 3.17 GPA. I do have great work experience working as a state judicial law intern, member of a hybrid SA program between my school and a big-law firm, and currently as an intern working on Smart Contracts and a legal advisor to the company’s CLM team. However, its been difficult to get my foot in the door and I am worried its because of my grades. Can anyone provide some advice?
