Is it okay if I get fired from D after my H1B transfer for the new employer gets approved ?

MBB AP about to exit to non-FAANG tech. Would you expect a signing bonus and/or pre-determined severance pay if things don't work out with the new company? Anything else that people have negotiated during their exit? I'd be leaving a large amount of bonus on the table to leave before the end of the year.

How do you handle people’s kids showing up on video meetings? Screaming, kicking, hamming it up, (wasting time.) Everyone else is coo-ing…I’m not a kids person. Heard a technique which is to drop off the call bc you “assume the call is over” (which seems like a great way to get fired especially if it’s a way higher up’s kids - plus it feels rather passive aggressive.) I think everyone will agree with this that in last 1-2 years we have seen a tremendous change in Indian IT industry and tremendous growth in Salaries and negotiations. Can someone explain me the factors that are triggering it even when the world markets are in huge correction phase and we are also seeing layoffs and revoked offers.

My LinkedIn feed was absolutely filled with layoffs today. What happened? A month or two ago it was a candidate’s market and the offers were great but now everything has shifted. I was informed that I am not getting a promotion that I was gunning for, and when I pushed back about being fairly compensated for my work the response about it not being a good time to ask was really ominous. Anyone else feeling bummed?

I have following job offers:
UKG: 18 LPA (16 fixed) + 1 Lakh JB
Snapdeal: 22LPA (20 fixed)
Freecharge: HR discussion is pending but would offer more than 20 LPA

Not sure what to choose, designation is SSE in every company.
I want good work culture, WLB, good tech stack.
Also, I have 1 month NP left, can you suggest me some good companies to apply?

How do you manage prayer and wudu in office/working hours while working in a non muslim country? I like keeping wudu, so end up making wudu every time i visit bathroom. is it hard to get out of govt auditing into big4/top10? I started working in public few months ago (cpa in progress) in a small firm in dc (alot of govt clients) but wanna do commercial-cont.

Do the other Big 4 firms have busy season contracting for audit? Part time or full time? And if so what are the name of these programs?

I moved from CA to WA, do I transfer my CPA through interstate reciprocity or another method? Which state will I submit CPE to in the future?
