I manage clinical trials in pharmaceutical company and am very interested/intrigued with what Verily team has been doing in life sciences.

However, when I try learn more it feels like there is not much information available. I catch myself wanting to join such an innovative team but fear of Theranos' fate stops me. I do not want referral but just an insight: do you see working at Verily in future or you just stay there for Google benefits?

Hello all, i have. A question regarding compensation for a lateral move. I just received a job offer for an UA position from a competing cyber insurance carrier for $70,000 + bonuses. This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? Managing attorneys in small firms - how much do you make?

I'm in South Florida. Currently a 6 year associate at a small firm (~12 attorneys, 55 staff). Making a move towards Managing Attorney position that they are considering hiring from outside the firm for. I'm going to make the case that they should promote from within and give me the position. Intl Tax folks, how long did it take before you were confident in your role?
