Hello Deloitte 🐠 any tips on questions / things to prepare for before having a partner interview?

I interviewed with a top big law firm last week for a Senior Project Manager role. I felt fairly good and confident post the interviews. Sadly I was not given the offer. I remember the Director mentioned that I was over qualified for the position. I’m currently a Consultant… I’m guess I’m not sure how to take the “over qualified” response. Prior to the interviews, I felt I needed more experience …. Lol. Anyone else felt the same?

How common is it for employers to pay for the cost of applying for a family based GC (an an AOS)? I understand it happens fairly frequently but would love to hear experiences!

Does anyone know where I can go for a short period of time to get a business work setup? Two monitors + keyboard + mouse and good WiFi? I have a timed case study coming up and would ideally go into the office to do it but it is closed and i don’t have a good wfh setup.

Got interviewed for MTS position

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
It's now been 3 weeks since the interview and I still haven't heard back from the team other than the odd HR email saying they are following up with them. Is there something going on internally, I.e hiring freeze in the London office atm?

Sick of people trying to link on LinkedIn that I do not know and not even sending a message along with it. Or sending recruiting messages with jobs outside of my level/experience.

I have an interview for a Principal Renewals Manager role at Slack/Salesforce this Wednesday and I was hoping for some advice on how I can wow them? Ive done a lot of research and made loads of notes but get very nervous in interviews and dont always articulate how I would want to / say everything I want to cover. General Question I started tuition reimbursement last year in August. I since have an interview with another job that is paying a lot more. You know how you apply to something not really thinking that job would call back? Should I get an offer, what do I do about tuition Reimbursement? Do they send a check and tell me to pay it? Do they take it out of my 401k? I know a lot of people will say I never shouldve applied but I didn't think too much about actually get a call back when I applied.

I’m curious how much people here earn per hour given the total hours worked each week incl. commute time. Factoring in 401k and post tax salary, I make $34 an hour. How do u compare?

How does your firm measure utilization? I work for a small boutique that defines it as utilization = number of billable hours/2,080 and full bonus payout occurs at 80% plus.
