Hello everyone, I’m new to this but I work in a dental office out in LA. I’m unhappy there cause the environment is so hostile. The manager is always micromanaging me and not only that, I’ve had write ups for very dumb reasons. They’re all unprofessional and I don’t know what to do besides quit on them. I haven’t done so yet because they’re the only office I know that pays me $30 an hour and never low balled me to start. But it’s a toxic environment. I feel like giving up because of them.

What are some creative ways that I can reward my team? They've been working really hard lately and I want to show my appreciation

Am I particularly uptight, or is writing meant to be done alone, without a partner talking to you? With past partners, we chat through script notes and then I go off to execute. Current partner likes to sit and chat as I write. To me, writing is crafting a conversation. So I can’t talk to you and simultaneously talk to this audience. Of course I can just say “I’m gonna go write.” But since we’re both CD level, I’m like…is this his first rodeo? Maybe other writers are different though.

If I get laid off, I have a previous colleague that started a cybersecurity company. I would love to get involved on the business side of it. Hello everyone I have 29 years as a dental professional in Texas. I started as a dental assistant back in 1993. As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough! I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate
