I really think that the insurance policy given by mediassist is way more expensive for parental insurance, means who will pay for 50k+ premium and that too for large copay, I guess the leadership team should intervene here....Parental insurance is really important for any employee and most of the time is only needed.
Recently I used parental insurance and found that the insurance company only paid for 50% of the total bill.

I don’t know how the technical product managers are different in your company from other product managers, so assuming they are relatively same with a little more technical focus vs marketing focus.
1. Get to know the domain really well, especially from the business side. What are the market forces shaping your company’s, team’s future? What is your company’s strategy to deal with them?
2. Learn how to communicate, negotiate and influence with non technical people. It’s a critical skill that everyone should have, but the one area that I have seen most technically strong people ignore/be bad at.
3. Show your work, don’t tell. Your output deliverables should be highly visible to others - and they can be of any form! A PowerPoint deck is as powerful as a wiki page or as a technical systems diagram. Whatever you create, make sure it is visible and viewed as a tangible output. Otherwise, both others and even you will have trouble articulating what value you have added over the year.
Thank you for your response. I’ll keep these things in mind. I’m looking for positions in other companies as my company doesn’t sponsor a visa for such a transition. And so far, not much luck. I figure I’ll need to update my resume to be relevant for this kind of a role which I’ll update this week. But other than that, are there any certifications that I could look into that are desirable and make my stand out than the rest?
