Hello fishes - My below offers are in pipeline. Which one would be better in terms of Learning, WLB, job security, overall? Nagarro : 33 LPA (including 5% variable)
Wissen Technology (Morgan Stanley project): 34 Fixed
Tech: ReactJS
YOE: 6.5
My analysis: Nagarro giving WFH permanent but project allocation would be done after onboarding. So, not sure how the project would be in terms of learning and WLB
Wissen Technology: Project is fixed. But office is too far from my home - around 2 hrs.
It depends on your mindset
I would choose nagarro as even if there is 1 year wasted due to project allotment, i don't mind it
And i would change after 1 year if project is bad

BTW, if project proposed to you after joining had a location constraint which doesn’t work for you, you can say no to it.
Update: Nagarro now saying as per the interview, feedback, they can offer associate staff role and not staff role. For Associate staff they can max offer 27.5 lpa as that's the capping for the role. Really confused now.

Work for a year or two in Wissen and switch again.
Don't lose out on good package this early in your career. You'll get Nagarro again later too.
Go for Nagarro, 1lakh doesn't make huge difference especially when you have permanent WFH.
It's not the matter of 1 lakh now, it is 6.6 lakhs difference

Actually, I think Nagarro is playing games here. What happened is Nagarro first offered 26Lpa nearly 3 months back. Recently I got offer of 33 lpa. Due to remote work, i wanted to go with Nagarro, so i negotiated with them with counter offer of 33.
Yesterday they told they will require one more round of interview to upgrade the role to staff engineer to match the offer.
The Nagarro profile for this post is ReactJS, but as I mentioned in the interview that during start of my career I worked with Angular, the interviewer asked all the Angular questions and ni single question for ReactJS. Still, the interview seemed above average to me, but within 5 mins after interview, the hr called and told it is not cleared, so they cannot upgrade the role and match the offer, they can max go upto 27.5 which is the limit of associate staff engineer.
I think they took interview for name's sake to purposefully reject me.
Just reject them
If they really want they'll get back for negotiation themselves

I am also in same situation like yours. Got offer from Wissen. I stay in Central Suburbarbs, would have to travel to Malad. Thrice a week. 2.5 hours one time journey. 😪
