No u won't be considered a fresher ,u can mention it to your recruiter, but it will be but diffult for you to get jobs

like

You have work experience, surely you will manage to get a job later but right now whatever you feel is priority please focus on that, you won't get this time back with your child but job you will get later as you have experience, might be difficult but not impossible, you have right reason to justify the gap, don't worry

I am in a similar situation, I have decided not to leave the job. I am trying to search for a good nanny and then i will be working from home. I believe many companies are now providing wfh, if you think you can manage that I would suggest to look for a wfh job or request your current company to provide.

This is really appreciable if someone can manage both side

Hey all newbie here. My husband and I are living that Double Income No Kid life wanting to (Financial Independence) Retire Early.

Both in tech in the Bay Area. I’m in Arizona visiting family and am thinking of an investment property. Does anyone have a book/course/video that they personally have used and recommend for flipping houses? I want to do some research there’s a lot of content out there.

Anyone here adopt a puppy during the infertility struggle? Husband and I considering it to have something positive throughout this situation and thinking the extra companionship would be helpful. I work from home. Husband has had many family dogs and lots of experience with it, I’ve had a family cat before. But not sure if it’s actually a good idea - wondering if it would truly help make us feel better and keep our minds off of the struggles or if it would just add extra stress. Thoughts?

Hi Guys,

Anyone active in this group can help me decide if Newgen Software or Number Theory good for Business Analyst role?

I recently came across an opening from Number Theory and it's parent company is Newgen Software. How is the work here since it's a product based company and which technologies they generally use.

Hi Fishes,

Need some suggestions from everyone. I have 4.5 years experience and I was working as contractor in ZS and my CTC in parent company was 7 Lakhs.

ZS were willing to offer me FTE as ZS but at a compensation of meagre 8.5 Lakhs. I tried negotiating but they sticked with this.

How come ZS do that? Why can't they pay more as they generally pay 15+ for 4.5 years experience.

How would you feel going on vacation with friends who want to bring their kid along too?

529 Plan VERSUS Prepaid

We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid." After obviously ignoring this for years, we are finally trying to do it before "it's too late" for both children.

Does anyone have recommendations on which plan to go with for each child? I once did the pros and cons on a whiteboard and it seemed like 529 was better.

Do you think all these violent and hate filled attacks are because people aren't getting the emotional/mental support they need, whether it's therapy at any age or help they needed but didn't get from a social worker as a child? My coworker is sure this is the case, but I honestly think there's actually something deeper wrong either with how these people are being raised as children, or how the warning signs these people give off are ignored or swept under the rug to save face.
