Whatever you do just immediately get after the cpa
I'm struggling with my cpa right now. Please start asap. It is the single most important thing you need to stay competitive and for career progression. Good luck, and start soon!
Chief
I would ask whoever your recruiter is. Every firm is different. Some will let you start after some will make you wait until the next onboarding class the following year.
Thank you!
Ask the recruiter. Our start date for new hires is fall (don’t ask me why), and at least in tax our recruiter told one of our interns they were phasing out summer starts. They might make an exception since you already graduated depending on need and what the usual start dates are.
Will do, thank you for the reply!
Talk to your recruiter or whoever is your designated HR will be. Ask/tell them how early you start. They will have to ask the partner/leadership since it will be different based on needs of that practice/firm location. They can let you start as soon as right after your internship based on how much they need people.
Ill be sure to message my recruiter, thank you!
They want you to start right away after you graduate. Im not a recruiter but do a lot of recruiting activities and this is what I have heard
Awesome, thank you for the info!
I was in a similar situation as you and they let me start full time right after my internship. Honestly even if you do have to wait a while, I emphasize using the time to get ur cpa cuz it’s hard after u start working full time
