Hello, I had a job in the it networking role for 25 years I have recently been let go of my duties about 5 months ago and of having a real real real bad time trying to find anything remotely what I used to do. It's like my job has been phased out. I was a support specialist and a technical support specialist but it seems like all those roles now roll up into tier one which I am not. How do I compare two sheets to make sure they are identical?

Hi Group, seems like it should be basic format, but I just can not get it to work. a list of data and want to alternate shade (blue,white,blue,etc) each line but if I have multiple lines I want to group together and they all shade the same. I want to group by the same data in column A, and the number of rows that are the same could vary. So let’s say row 1& 2 same entry in column A(blue) row 3 different (white) row 4,5,6 same as each other different to other rows (blue) etc… help 🙏

I’m trying to learn more about Excel functionality and there’s several simple functions that I don’t know, this is probably one. If I am color coding data, is there a way to automatically move those lines to the top or bottom of the spreadsheet once the color code for the line is made?

I'm a relatively junior data engineer (2yoe), the only other engineer (senior) that trained me left about a 6 months ago and I negotiated a nice raise for the extra responsibilities.

My performance reviews have been stellar, but my manager is starting to look to hire a senior to help me deliver projects as we do lack capacity right now.

I feel like I might be missing an opportunity to ask for a promotion and hire a junior instead.

Any opinions/tips?

I’m getting close to being at my current job for a year, however I have a lot of experience in the tech field, which is what landed me this job without any actual IT background. I am in a tech IC position. One of friends switched to FAANG by converting the profile to consultant profile. The friend who might have less tech knowledge than me is now in FAANG and earning more. If the end goal would be that the friend might one day be a product manager and me an engineering manager taking instructions from the same friend, isn't consultant profile an easier path to growth. I had been practising DSA for years and the competition is only ever growing.
