I’m not sure about the case study.
In terms of interview, be prepared to hit on (1) your background (so applicable work experience and industry focus), (2) why you are interested in M&A/transactions (requires Ana analytical mind rather than checking boxes in audit), (3) what value you can bring to the table, and (4) why you like specific Pwc firm.
If this is an internship, it may be harder to answer the above with no prior work experience. They also may just want to talk with you. Lots of FDD groups are small and just want to make sure you vibe with them. Maybe do some research into your city’s sports teams or interviewer’s sports teams to see if you can “organically” squeeze in a statement to show you can hold a convo about non-work items (I’m just using sports as an example .. can be anything).
I actually never did a case study so can’t help ya there. But if you search around on discussions here, you should find some answers
yes - lots of it is behavioral based - talk about your passions (mine was cycling and hold conversation) be ready for common behavioral questions.
Case study - know what FDD does understand some of the items we deliver - QoE, NWC and net debt assessment. I’d assume you might get hit with a few accounting questions in the case.
Good luck bud / gal
Not sure at the intern level but at the senior level its both strategy (not very in depth) and analytical
Do you have prior FDD experience
I have previously had an audit internship and a tax analyst internship. Not FDD.
