I am holding 2 offer one from infosys with 12lpa they are refusing to tell project/client other is from birlasoft with 15 lpa for banking domain which one should i prefer Birlasoft Infosys Limited

What are some good practices during the sales phase of a potential project to execute before the contract is signed? Seems obvious but would love some ideas on standard operating procedures that help with seamlessly handing over a signed contract to the account team. For example, speaking to the potential client explicitly about their role in staying on schedule, reviewing scope creep consequences, etc.

Just got offered to join potential project that would relocate me to LA for 3-4 months for onsite work. My firm’s IT (especially system saving and file locating function) is so bad 😐😞 and they keep doing updates no one asked them for just to mess with the stuff we already got a hang of without doing anything about the issues we actually need fixed. Anyone else in a similar boat? Do you bill the client for the time it takes to fix the IT issue (or IT inefficiency generally, like time taken to find a file in a convoluted system)? Or is that supposed to be our non-billable time?
