have been working in SOX Compliance Profile for the last 3 years and I am interested in growing in audit field My question here is
Do I need just CISA Or do I need to get the CRISC Cert too I'm confused in between these two on which do I get first or do they need to be done together I have also completed the ITILV4 Foundation
CISA - Certified Information Security Auditor
CRISC- Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control

24 yo looking for advice! Within the next few years I’d like to exit to industry but also live in Korea for ~1 year. Playing around with two options:

1. Quit job, study abroad, then find an industry job

2. Secure job at an international company, quit my job, try to transfer to korea office

I’d prefer option 1 but my biggest concern is it will be more difficult to find a job while unemployed (ie after study abroad). Nervous about how 1 year unemployed will impact future job prospects...

I’m in-house at a small company (60 people), started right out of law school about 5 years ago. We had a legal team of 5 then. Everyone has left and we just hired a new GC. I went from $70k to $100k a little over a year ago. I am expecting an offer from a firm doing business law work but think this might be an opportunity to go to my current employer and ask for a significant raise, with new offer in hand. Any thoughts or advice going into this?

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

I should go study abroad this month, but I am extremely anxious, I’m not excited about my course and overall not ready. Should I take a break and go next year or just do it?
