Has anyone ever posted a general marketing position? We have an open position on our marketing team but we are unsure what type of position to offer. We have a wide variety of needs but don’t necessarily need to have this future person have all these skills. For example we need someone with great copywriting skills and also need someone who is great at digital marketing. I got a call from EY HR a couple of days back stating that I have cleared all the rounds and enquired about the expectations.

Post which it has been two days...now I enquired about the update on the next steps. No response and even not answering the call.

Does this mean that even after going through a gruelling process of interviews they now see the salary bracket fitment and rejected my candidature?

Hi Fishes, asking this for a friend working as SAP BASIS Consultant.
He performed well in TCS technical round and HR also seemed to be happy with his performance.
He asked for 8.5 LPA, his current CTC being 4.3 LPA, with little over 3 years of experience.
HR said they would call him later and after 4 days, HR called and said she was informed by management that they could only provide 6 LPA :(
Any idea why they offered him that less? He is very disappointed with the way things turned out to him

Hey fishes . Need advice . I am serving NP : 2.5 months left . My mgr just offered me on-site Frankfurt , it is a legit position I am aware . But it is for workplace delivery team , I’ll be on manager position. Travel is immediate in 20 days or something, I don’t have my logistics in place . Very confused . Please advise .
