I have been a PA for 20 + years. I took the first job I was offered. I don't regret it. It got the ball rolling. I know things are different now but I suppose the fact that you need to start somewhere never will.
I looked for quite some time as well right out of school. Graduated on 2018. I applied for ~5 months until I got something with, I think 2 interviews.
About a year later, I figured I would look and see what was out there and ended up applying to 3 jobs in unrelated specialties. I got interviewed at 2 and offered one.
Experience matters. Just keep your head up and keep applying. You got this!
Get with a locums/ placement agency ( they are free to you) . Share your experience with that recruiter , they often will give you more honest feedback.
consider traveling / per diem, in family medicine , if needed to get some jobs under your belt .
