Interview doesnât equal offer.
Keep asking questions, learn about culture and team goals. Make sure they align to your core skills youâre focused your career on and business interests (startup, mid cap, enterprise, industry, etc).
Once I picked up two different girls over two nights and I was freaking out over which to prioritize, etc. Advice was to let it play out. One removed herself from the conversation and the other was fun while it lasted (exchange student).
Oops forgot to mentioned Iâve got offer for the first two companies and have good feeling with aws.
Haha thatâs a good example..
Given the choice with AWS and the tech unicorn, I really donât know which one to choose cause I want to make sure I can grow my career in the next company I go to
Amazon has a good company culture? Never heard that before.

I'd ask current employees in similar roles about how the commission and growth prospects play out. Not all products and sales ops teams handing out territories are created equal, and your pay can come out looking quite different in spite of the contract you sign.
I joined a great team at AWS (non tech tho ) and went here over a startup for the notoriety. Depending how early in your career you are you may prefer having AWS on your resume as a future door-opener. Itâs not a perfect place but youâll get that with most jobs. The startup could expose you to way more in one role than AWS though. Go with your gut + what will be best for you.
