I’ve been with my current company for a little over 5 years now and since the start of the pandemic have been WFH. I absolutely love WFH and have always wanted a position in which I could WFH. I really don't like it and I'm working towards a career change which I'm actively applying for and getting certified etc. However, it's been a slow process and I'm currently underpaid where I am so would it be wise to make a lateral move to another MEP firm simply because they offer me more money while I still look for a different job separate from this field? Or just tough it out?

Made a career pivot to another agency. During the interview we talked about how it may start as initially a "step backwards" (pay/benefits) but has potential for more long term growth. First day was yesterday. Had no communication about when or where to show up, sat in an empty office for about half an hour before a couple people finally showed. No phone call or email. Sent an email to the founder, no response. I could easily get my old job back if wanted.

Today I got the job offer and they are offering me 54k. My current company is making me 50k with tons of benefits which is why I am asking for 60k.
