Hey all, I’m trying to understand what skills I can acquire to move up in my career in my supply chain. I have done a general business degree and have about 1-2 years of experience. Still unsure how to specialize and where to navigate towards for future. What area has most growth in supply chain and what industry should I position myself in? Would you recommend a masters? Grateful for all the help and would love to have a private chat if you have the time. Thank you

I think it totally depends on your own personal career aptitude. Do you enjoy working with people? Then perhaps consider going to the purchasing side or distribution. If you are better at the analytical side then I would look towards logistics.

What do you like about Supply Chain? Ask yourself what makes you happy, and that will tell you what direction to go in. Throwing certifications and degrees on a early career in Supply Chain will not help career growth. Working hard and excelling in what you do will. Gain more years of experience and then add on the Masters Degree.

MBA, APICS, six sigma training, project management certifications.

All great options

For sure data analytics is one of the areas that has the most growth in SC. But still depends on your career goals. Master's on the other hand would be helpful in your career only if you have more years of experience already.

I was wondering if anyone in this group is or knows about groups to support attorneys who are/have been suspended and how to handle it with life. Frankly the state bar isn't a good resource and it's starting to impact my career in not practicing the law. I've been working for a non attorney job in my company for years and was recently told my suspension means I'd never get it. Boy that was a blow that triggered depression and anxiety, still there as it's been less than a year week.

Pros: 50k bump, company is full remote, no time tracking software, unlimited PTO, 10k in quarterly bonuses, vertical move in responsibility and title, will set me up for future roles in different companies with the title I am looking for (so strategic move)

Cons: Its a startup, the solution they offer is adjacent my desired industry, its a very small team so I wouldn’t be necessarily grow my network, tech stipend for new laptop (but they don’t provide a work one)
