I recently had an interview with a very promising pre-IPO company in the AI/ML space for a SE leadership position. The interview feedback was better than I expected, but with a twist. They have already given the offer to someone else, but they still want to bring me on board and they asked me what I would like to do. Outside of FAANG, what are good large CA-based tech companies that provide good pay, WLB, and culture? DD has great people and WLB, but pay is low and you’re not given the tools and resources to succeed + truly make an impact. Google and Apple are ideal but need backups. Like is Salesforce still good?
