How can you pay 2.5 lakhs for a course?
I am a data scientist and I am saying Ai, ML is not the future. Full stack development is the future.
I second this.
Your sole reason to pursue the course is based upon its popularity and not out of any learning desire. I would suggest you to think about this again before making any kind of big financial investment.
The sole reason for majority of people doing job is money (medium of exchange) for ur unending desires & wants...
As I said I want to explore the part which is needed and anyways this will get into every sector...
It's better to start now rather delay further...
I'm in the same situation right now. I'm tired of my current domain (SAP functional consultant). So I though of exploring other domains.
I have also enrolled with Scaler. I'm still wondering if I should go ahead with it or withdraw (2 weeks to withdraw and get all the money back)...
Sap is a good domain. Why are you leaving?
See please don’t follow the herd mentality. First you need to identify your core area of interest and the current skill set you have. Once that is sorted you need to understand what the additional skill set that you require to excel in the area of interest you like. Plan and focus accordingly. Everyone has a different career path and you would be the best person to judge what’s the best option for you.
It can be data science, ML, cybersecurity etc. whatever your choice is.
On the course front: you need to identify the Return of Investment(ROI) vs the time, money and effort invested. Only if the ROI has higher output vs investment then only it makes sense else it would not add any value and eventually you’ll end getting frustrated.
Codes are available for every problem for stack-overflow but unless you understand the problems and reasons contributing for that problem NO Data Science course can help you and again you will face these problems when you deal with real world problems. The toy datasets we have don’t have any such problems. Also, they have many underlying assumptions which are never mentioned upfront unless you yourself check for it. As pointed out by my friend Mathematics is at heart of Data Science, If you can visualise numbers and distribution Welcome to Data Science domain
You are so right, the datasets we get online requires so many assumptions and sometimes we just have to show the result due to limited context of the problem
There are so many free and paid courses to learn that are cheaper than Scaler. Also entry barrier is very high in data science. My advise will be go for data engineering. As a data scientist myself, I found very few places where work is really good. And for that good jobs entry barrier is masters and phd in data science.
Dude, if you are already enrolled don’t hesitate on anything around you.
Work your ass off and let time judge your efforts.
Hi , ai ml is not jus the future , every job has its own importance and learning, dont fall in the prey for social median data science influencers , they do not share real life struggles as a data scientist
You won't be a good AI/ML/Analytics professional without knowing the mathematics behind it. Just running a code won't make for a good Data Analyst or ML engineer
With commerce background you can make alot more money than data science/AI jobs and regarding salary in technical role full stack developers are getting high pays than Data scientists as they are developing full system where AI is a module inside it. In organization level sales people make the highest as they are the one who sales otherwise the product you developed will be unsold and it's just waste of money.
