I recently applied for a role as a manager in Nikes EMEA branch I received the automatic mail from the application portal acknowledging receipt of my application then received an email from the talent acquisition partner a week ago also acknowledging receipt and confirming that they are reviewing my application and will send me an update as soon as they know more. It's been a week and haven't heard back. What would be the next steps? How long is the nike recruitment process?

Had two rounds of interviews for an in house role and really like the company/job. I followed up Friday regarding next steps and was told they are still interviewing and should be wrapping up soon. Advice on how to stay calm? I want the position and need to know if there’s a way to speed up the process.

What tactics have you or peers used to find interesting exit ops at manager level or above?

I’ve worked mostly for financial services clients (banks, insurers, payments, etc.) but the exit ops I’ve come across seem a little underwhelming (mainly corp strat roles). Trying to get a better sense of what’s out there as someone who doesn’t have a specific content niche.

First gen, first year lawyer here. What do you do when you have family members who expect money from me every paycheck. I try to stand my ground but I get guilt tripped, especially when those family members were there for me.

It’s getting hard to save money when there is this expectation that I must give them money every paycheck. It feels like I have nothing for myself.

Okay so I’m a newly licensed attorney in a very conservative part of TX. I just got my first job offer and I was worried at first thinking that I was in “Trump” territory, but I tested the waters in my interview and spoke about police injustices and how prosecutor’s job is not only to protect victims, but also defendants from police injustices. I don’t cut my hours, I consistently reach 7 hours a day, but it’s not enough to meet my firm’s minimum requirement. I’m usually working 9 hours/day.
