No, I've worked for 3 years and never saw anyone getting fired. Moreover, you are a fullstack developer so there is no chance of getting fired. I've seen people on bench for 2 years at IBM GBS and didn't get fired.
Good luck 👍
25L - Wow.. I did not know IBM pays this much.. 😅
Chief
is 25 including retirals or fixed?
Chief
pretty good offer.
If you are warming bench and not getting selected in any projects or if you cannot clear client rounds then only you have to worry.
Obviously no company wants to pay 25L and sit idle.
On positive side, it's very rare. You ll get project, dont worry. All the best
IBM is a very safe bet, never heard of anyone getting fired in my 4 years. Seen many who are not able to contribute much but still getting paid. It’s not cut throat competition here like you see in consulting and people are cooperative and understanding. So definitely would recommend this one to you as you are getting great pay along with WLB at IBM which might not be the case otherwise.
