Hi all,
I'm 28 and I have a heart condition called SVT (Supraventricular Tachycardia). The cardiologist has suggested that I should go under the procedure called Catheter Ablation. They said it's safe and I can leave normal life after the procedure. And SVT is not a life threatening condition but it's better to undergo procedure avoid further major incidents.
I wanted to know if it is safe and can I leave a normal life after procedure? Has anyone went through it and how you are dealing with it?

Still remember when I was so anxious and wrote this post to seek suggestions. So adding a comment here to help anyone who is facing the same condition. So, I went through the procedure which my cardiologist suggested. I was conscious throughout the procedure, it was completely normal and not painful except the anesthesia. The anesthesia injections were really really painful. I'm living a completely normal life now. I travel to the office, go for outings and trekking and do yoga. If any of you are in the same condition and suggested to go through the procedure then I would suggest you can take that call to have the procedure, it's good for you and your health. 😇❤️

Yours is a very specific case bro, I don’t think you will get any answer here. Try to consult multiple doctors before taking any decision.

Help me get over my covid anxiety: had plans with a friend but they got exposed to covid. Got a neg rapid test but feel like they have a sore throat and still want to hang. Given rapids don’t necessarily detect omicron plus the symptoms, I’m a bit concerned. I’m WAAAY more cautious than most when it comes to covid (not doing indoor events yet, still masking). We’d be outdoors anyways, so do I put my anxiety aside and risk it or ask them to get a PCR and just postpone to next week?

But there are drawbacks too - my energy level(especially around night time) drop significantly that the level of exercise I used to do feels hard (light/mid intensity)

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. Suggestions?

Friendly tip from a former recruiter & HR PM.

Under no circumstances disclose how much you make or what you want to make.

Tell the recruiter,” I need to interview to learn more about the specific details of this opportunity before I’ll know how much I need to accept a potential offer…”

I discuss & other do’s and dont’s on IG.

The Way to a Higher Salary? Leave.

If I had stayed in the role I was in originally and grown with it, I’d be making maybe $120k, best case. I also wouldn’t have broken 6-figures in under 4 years by waiting.

The biggest lie that companies tell you is you can grow in a firm, both professionally and financially. The only ones that grow are already the people a) getting the promotions, or b) on the sales side.

If neither applies to you, the fastest way to achieve salary growth is to leave.
