Hi all, I’m at a Big 4 with 3 YOE, joined as a Grad. Have received an offer for a 20-25% increase for a similar role, but more specialised team in a firm like Accenture/Capgemini/Baringa

My concerns are:
- It’s a lateral move, so feels like it‘ll set me back some years to reach the next grade.
- Having to rebuild network, and more specialised work that I’m not sure I’ll love. I enjoy the current work I’m doing

Would you take the pay bump? Or should I wait a year or 2? Any help appreciated!

Guys, I interviewed at amex gurgaon 10days ago and was told by VP that I will hear from HR very soon. But when I checked on HR yesterday, she said interviews are still in progress and it will take a week more to finalize.
I want to know do they take this long to close a position? This opening was posted on 30th Sep.. It's already been 1.5 months. This is when they said the position was urgent!! 🙄

What kind of feedback do you give as an interviewer at your firm (e.g. qualitative, quantitative, thumbs up, thumbs down, veto)? Does everyone get in a room or do you just submit the forms to one hiring partner, and/or to a black box? If you don't click with the student, what would make you still give them a thumbs up? I had call with the HR for he position based out of Mumbai everything in interview and they are ready to share the offer. however, I quoted for 10 lakhs and they said for fixed pay of 8.75.
Although, i checked on Google as well average pay they are giving is 9.7 lakh
So should I accept the offer as per their negotiation or shall positively tell them why 10 lakh is justified?
