They’re a small boutique firm in NYC. A recruiter reached out to me bc they’re trying to grow their team with ppl who have experience in T&E (I have 5+ YOE). My second round interview is this week and it will be based on “behavioral & critical case analysis components” but I’m not sure what kind of cases to expect since T&E is very niche. Also trying to get an idea of comp package.

Looking for respectful ways to manage helping people in need of a job or seeking mentorship. I get 3-4 requests a week from mutual contacts asking if I can connect with a former colleague (always broad). Typically the ask is a 30-45 min call. I’ve been laid off, I know how hard a time it is, but equally am working long hours, parenting and want to reserve time for those I know. How do others manage these extra calls into their weeks?

Looking to choose a place to fly out of for getting my PPL. Would you recommend a program based out of a controlled or uncontrolled airport? It sounds like you get more flight time out of the uncontrolled (less busy), but less experience liaising with ATC. Both options are comparable cost-wise and about the same distance from my house.

Hi, just wondering how the staffing situation has been in strategy consulting in general? My sibling started a job in strategy in Silicon Valley 2 months ago after MBA. She has been on the bench for 2 months and was informed that there has been a shortage of jobs (within the job) and the amount of people on the bench is getting high.
