I am leaving retail pharmacy after 15 years. I am opening a 403b pharmacy for a FQHC. I don't believe that retail pharmacy will be able to sustain itself with patient costs skyrocketing. So I’m currently looking for another role within IBM. I apply for this job online and Slack the hiring manager letting them know of my interest and that I would like to chat with them about the position. Here’s the problem: I got an automated email notification saying I’m no longer being considered for the role and they are no longer hiring for the role. The hiring manager still scheduled time on Tuesday to talk to me?! Umm, what exactly are we gonna talk about if the role doesn’t exist anymore?

It’s a remote position making solid money and interesting work/field. Just worried I’m leaving public too soon.
