I attended the HCL interview on May 25th. After clearing the first round, I received a welcome email. I promptly sent all the documents. However, two days later, I received another email stating that the position was on hold.

On June 10th, an HR called me and informed me that the position has resumed. After discussing the salary, she mentioned that it requires cost approval.

Question: Is this a normal process If so, how many days does it usually take to release the offer letter?

I’m concerned that my latest job have been less than a year each on my resume but I’m at my wits end and need to start looking. Do you think I will be overlooked because of the length of time at each company?

On interview days, do you take adderall / concerta? I’m nervous that it can make me seem more robotic / less personable during cases etc.

Next week I’m having my first lateral interview as a junior associate. I’m very nervous because the group with whom I’m interviewing works with life science/tech clients and the attorneys have strong science/tech backgrounds; and I do not. However, I am very, very interested in transitioning to this practice. And I reaaally want this job because it’s at my dream firm. How would you recommend preparing for the lateral interview?

I messed up my screenshare in a meeting with 2 colleagues and showed my personal email that had scheduling info for my onsite interviews with another company. I closed it but it was up long enough for them to see it. Now they both pretend like they saw nothing and I felt panic for some reason.
