I have received an offer for a Data Scientist position in Oslo, Norway in an Oil & Gas based company. I have been offered 730k NOK as yearly base salary. Since I'll be relocating from India, I would appreciate any valuable insights on the salary as well as other factors such as Cost of Living (Single/Bachelor), Taxes, etc.

Now my offer is awaiting from TSYS(quoted 25) . TSYS said day before yesterday it's in discussion with management .

I once asked a colleague at a radio company how much he's paid monthly, and he outright refused to tell me. In fact, he found it very odd that I asked. I later learned that he was making double my salary. I know it's not an employee's job to fix pay inequity by sharing their salary figures, but I'm still of the opinion that it helps uncover pay gaps. Hi I have asked to be an advisor for a startup. Its in its very early stage pre pre-seed. Its looking like weekly strategy calls and possibly some executional work as well. Like building out a sales process and/or training sales and marketing team members (this might be 1-3hr a week of work).

Just saw that Airbnb's salary range for a 2+ years experience Data Scientist in US is 129k -180k USD.
In INR its 95L- 1.4cr. But in India do they pay even 30L to 4 years yoe?
Last year I saw such salary range for 4+ yoe in US. But in India its yet to increase.
In this quarter these companies have started negotiating in the name of US recession. Irony is salary range didn't decrease in the place where the recession is supposed to occur.
