I am currently earning 20LPA as a dot net developer and am confuses about going for it. Don't want to loose an income stream for a minor jump.

I have 1 year experience as an internal business consultant, 3 years experience as a team manager with project management responsibilities and a background in Account Management and Sales prior to all that. I’m seriously enatkng to get into an SE role and have been searching for Associate Sales Engineers that do NOT require SE experience since I’ve none. It’s proving to be difficult. Most companies for some reason are requiring 2-3 years of experience for the Associate role. 😭 Any Sales Engineers who know of companies hiring those with no experience? Actually i have been interviewed in Accenture .
Everything has been done even salary discussion is also .
1-assessment and i got the completion message and confirmation
2-after that interview went very well
3 - hr discussion with salary , ready to initiate my offer in 2 hr
But she called me in a minute on Friday and told me that you need to give the test again.


After 3 days on monday -today
Someone called me from hr and told me you have to appear for all the things again.

I am soooo slow right now… nyc. How’s everyone else doing. I’m getting a little nervous about this economy and seeing a lot of layoffs in other bowls 😣

Who gets to decide the ctc offered to a candidate? If a candidate is being offered x3 his/her current salary then does it give their manager the licence to overutilize the candidate with insane work? The way I see it there's no real benefit for the candidate here considering the performance pressure on him/her.

My manager also emphasis more on domain knowledge he has been in this domain for more than 15yrs and tells if people go to other company then domain should be same. But i find fintech too restrictive, so if i switch to diff domain will it be issue after 10yrs as i won't be from any particular domain then and i heard companies search for domain knowledge people after 15yrs of exp.
