I started out as a graphic designer. Worked for about 4yrs in different roles. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Like in 5-10 years I wouldn’t want to be a specialist or a ux director. I d like to be an art director or creative director. I love branding & marketing but also product. Would love something that allows me to do both?

Say you have an offer for Senior Test Engineer and SDET (not senior).
Compensation is same. Both the companies are good.

Given the narrowing boundaries between testing and dev, which position is better in the long run? I thought it'd be SDET.

It's my first month in a new job as Product Owner. For the past 25+ years, I've been a devops engineer, cloud architect and team lead on many projects. I would like to make a career move into IT Management (i.e. DevOps Manager, Director of Cloud Ops, etc.). When it comes to skills needed, what should my focus be on and how would that translate onto a resume? I would love to still be hands-on to utilize my tech knowledge.

I have a total of 8.1 yrs of development experience in Java, Bigdata and Hadoop (new to it).
I got an offer from Capgemini for Manager/C2 designation with a CTC of 24 LPA. I just wanted to know the roles and responsibilities at this designation.
Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?

Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .

So considering recession and mass layoff which one will be right option to select in terms wlb, job security and future growth .

FYI : checkpoint is starting r&d division in India I will be first person to be hired for the same role.
