Ive worked as a Salesforce dev and admin but in L3 support role. I did some minor developments which i can spin into projects for my resume but i really do not want to lie.
I worked for 2.3 yrs in that role and left due to personal stuff n been jobless since Nov 2024. I wanted to switch to .Net bt my last ctc was 8 lpa (assuming this) so i never made it to an interview.
Now im going back to Salesforce by getting a PD cert now.

I need some advice/anything you can help me out with.

I’ll finish my Master’s in Engineering Management in 1 year. How do I land a management level role at a tech company without management exp?

My total YoE is 14 years. I know pretty long stay in TCS. I am happy with the work though I am not a project lead or in some manager position. Got onsite opportunity almost 7 years in support project. But some time seeing my x-teammates who have changed many companies and now in better position, feeling like I would have moved out instead of sticking to 1 company. Now decided I have to come out from this comfort zone. I know it is possible but worried a bit with my exp. I need you guys advice..Plz

What can you do if you’re getting interviewed by the same person who didn’t choose you in the first place?
Context: I applied for a position a while back and got interviewed, but didn’t go to the next round. I found the same position open again a month later at a different location and applied. Almost immediately, I was called for an interview, but with the same interviewer. What does this mean? Is this going to get awkward?

Has anyone applied to a job opening on the internal board or is that just a way to get yourself into trouble with the current group?

How long is the typical wait to hear back about a job offer/no offer after a final round interview?

I was just talking to a younger friend who goes to Cal and It seems like the kids these days hate FAANG or at least Amazon and Facebook are not desired at all. My brother has 8 YOE post his Masters with a US bank in their rates trading division as a software developer- managing, supporting and developing software for pricing trade executions, risk management and reporting requirements for the trading desk. He wants to pivot out of banking and maybe look for an opportunity with FAANG or with MBB/Tier2 consulting. So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Hi Fishes I am in a complex situation, please help me out..

I got an offer with TCS and initially selected joining date as Jan 2.. but current org released me in 1 month instead of 3 months.. I asked TCS HR and others for early Onboarding but they didn't respond well..

After that I got one offer and joined immediately. But now I don't like to work here as I have to go to office all 5 days mandatorily, also role is slightly new to me.
