Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Second year associate, started at a new firm recently and got put on a fast paced transaction. Made mistakes (drafting errors and tardiness to a call) that feel irredeemable… although no one has scolded me yet. As we move into next phase of the transaction the senior associate on the deal asked to meet 1-1 to discuss “logistics” and “my time/role” on the transaction. . .
