I have recently joined EY SaT group as senior consultant recently in Netherlands. I’m tripple masters in MS economics, MBA and MS business analytics. Have 4 YOE in different industries but no M&A experience specifically. Any ideas what company should be offering me? I’ll be working as expert on commercial due diligence, FDD and valuation teams and doing automation alongside. is it wise to demand higher salary or promotion soon after I have proven that I can work and do it better than most?EY
Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Have you countered them at all yet? If not, then just go back with the offer and ask if they can make that work. Assuming it’s not a ridiculous difference between the two, I imagine they’d match.
I usually broach that subject with the recruiter that’s handling my hire. They WANT you to get hired and will have convos about how they can best make it work…
TY! Definitely won’t hurt to ask. I also plan on accepting either way!
Do you have to do it in email? Call your recruiter and explain your current company countered and you want to see what is possible before making a final decision. Sometimes it’s easier to talk it out than write it down. And I agree that they WANT to hire you. I’m also in the camp that taking the new offer will work out better than accepting the counter. But you’ve gotta play the game a little first.
TY! I tend to hide behind emails, but looks like I’ll be standing my ground over a call based on all the advice I’ve been getting! I’ll see how it goes, but I think I will accept regardless.
Definitely do this as a phone call. I’d just be honest and transparent with them. You really would love to join them, you highly respect the agency, etc. But your current place is trying to keep you and has countered with a strong offer. Can they match that offer?
