Hi, I'm currently a PCB. I have aspirations of becoming a PB. I've spoken to the manager of that division and he said he would like to see me become a PCA and get a CFP before considering me for the role. I looked at the job post and it mentioned graduate degrees and a CFA as helping. Does anyone have any advice on how they pivoted to PB? I was also looking at the BRM role as a means to becoming a PB as I noticed that's been a path for some.

Would you be referring to a JPM Private Banker working in the Private Bank?

Yes. I want to know a good pivot from the branch as a PCB to the Private Bank.

BRM to PB? Nah, that sounds wild and why would you want to go from PCA to PB? My tenured PCA clears 350k after 12 years with the firm

You make a valid point plus not having to be at just one branch. Thank you for sharing that with me.

Know this is a long shot, but if I’m counseled out of one MBB, what are the chances I could get an equivalent job at another? And if not another MBB, thinking that a T2 or B4 could be possible? I’m not even sure I want to stay in consulting, but also feel like I didn’t get a fair shot at it

recently asked a question about going to law school with an accounting degree. follow up on that- if i work 1-2 years at my current firm (offered 72,500 full time after graduating undergrad) and acquire my cpa (courses and exam fees paid for by the firm), then apply to law school, would that be more beneficial? ive been reading a lot that work experience helps with the application, alongside having a high gpa and LSAT score

This post is an alert message for anyone joining the Johnson & Johnson EMEA account for SAP & had Rakesh Sharma for their Manager round.

He is nothing less than a con man & will promise you a lot to make you join the account. After that he will put you in testing projects. If you ask for a release, he will either not release you or release with a very bad rating and influence other project managers to not take you into their projects.

You will be left with no choice other than leaving TCS.
