Thoughts on the 2023 CTR?

🤷♂️ But it was on time

I got a call from HR and offer discussion was over couple of weeks back and still waiting for them to send me final mail to release offer. May I know if they take this much time to release offer, when I did a follow up call after 10 days they said they are waiting for some approval to release offer.
Any ideas i still have chances to get offer? BNY Mellon
And the rest is history 😅

I felt that’s a
Low range.
I work in a pharma agency (Chicago) and started as an AE there in 2020 at 60k and was promoted 2 years later to an SAE at 71k. TBH, that is below agency standards, and my agency started someone at 85k as an SAE so it’s below my agency’s standard. I’m not happy with my pay, so I’m looking elsewhere.
A lot goes in to your pay and of it will depend on your experience; some is time spent in the role and some is location. Pay bands also have to be taken into consideration, though it sounds like you could be on the low end of the band structure. Also, your increase if you get promoted after a year is likely going to be lower than if you spent two years in that position.
TLDR: you’re underpaid. I would see if you can figure out with others at your level make (or made if they’ve been promoted) so you can see where you stack up. Then you’ll have to decide if you want to ask for more, but a lot of places will make you show them an offer from a comparable company before they increase your pay.
