Looking for some advice/suggestions here. 24 years old, TC is now 110k. I have 40k cash savings. $6,500 in my 401k and $6,400 in Roth IRA. Just was promoted and wondering if that’s too much cash to hold onto AND if contributing to a Roth makes sense. I contribute 7% with 100% match and 10% profit sharing at the end of the year to the 401k. Contributing $550 a month to the Roth. Would appreciate any ideas as I know it’s a good spot but just wanted to see if it’s the smartest approach.

Debating on whether or not I should get myself a financial advisor. I’m in my early 30’s, about to take a 30% jump in pay, and want to make up for lost time when I wasn’t able to save as much as I wanted and start investing. But I’m clueless! I plan to contribute more to my 401k/rIRA but also want to invest for some short and long term goals like buying a vacation home in 8-10 years and future children’s college funds.
