How are the other consultancies doing in SCM? I am strongly thinking of jumping ship and wondering what would be the best option.

A1 - What are you smoking these days ? As an ex . KPMG is leading the SCM for Procurement and that leaves behind A+D combined . ACN is tech oriented in SCM work ( SI WORK) but all the others D , K , P and E are all doing non tech SCM work .

I hear time and again that y’all are at the helm in SCM alongside with big D. Isn’t that true?

What exactly do you enjoy in SC (S&OP, Network, Warehousing, Technology, etc)? There are a bunch of great boutique firms. The firm I came from paid close to ACN and that was all internal promotions for me, so I suspect external hires should be same or maybe a little higher.

I recently joined accenture's sc&o practice after 5 years at a boutique SCM firm. I joined because of how leading edge accenture is in SC. As said before the big d is only other that can be compared to Accenture. EY & PwC are just starting to invest majorly if you are ready to lead.

PwC is definitely behind EY

Hi everyone,

I have got the ey hr mail stating i should provide him with aadhar card, information sheet and latest resume for a audit and assurance contract for 6 months as iam a semi qualified CA.

Here my question is should i take this opportunity. Cause since this is only for 6 months. After that, what i can do, where should I try to get the job?

In mid size firms, people won't pay as much as big 4 pays.

Should I take it or am I making a mistake by taking this.

Should I do some DS/ML or cloud(azure/gcp) courses? If yes, suggest some.

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.

I’m seriously contemplating taking a software development boot camp. For those who hire new software developers, does it make you stand out if you get your certificate from a university instead of a coding academy (like coding dojo or something)? I noticed the universities are a bit more expensive but is it worth the price to have a university on your resume or does it not really matter?
