Esp if you have a job lined up already, go for it. And 🤞🏼 the one you leave for is what you hope it is. Once you’re there you prob wanna stay for a bit so it wouldn’t look like a pattern.
just change your linked in to say you were freelance
I was in the same boat - stayed in a role for 6 months and just mentioned that it was contract
Life is short don’t settle for less. Take that job!
Rising Star
Lol. Go for it. Dream Job > an agency that would fire you in a heartbeat if they needed to
Nbd. Don’t even hesitate.
People do it all the time. If anyone ask, just say. It wasn’t the right fit and a great opportunity came to my door and couldn’t let it pass.
Many people have gone through that.
Good luck!
People I’ve hired have handed in their resignation after 3 months, 5 months or 6 months before. On my end there’s never any judgement, especially if they’re leaving for an opportunity they really value. I don’t think I’ve let an employee leave for a new job without wishing them well, and telling they’re welcome back. That even more emphasized if they’re talented because they act as ambassadors for your company once they’ve left.
Ultimately, life is short, if you have your dream offer, take it. The only thing I hate about people leaving quickly is that I need to spend time interviewing again lol.
Dude you're a copywriter. Take the gig.
For your dream job, it’s never too early to leave.
Leave. Run don’t walk. Remember they would cut it you if they found their dream person X for your position.
