Taking medical leave is an underutilized benefit.
For mental or physical health issues, there’s no need to disclose anything more to the firm than it is a “leave for a medical condition.”
100%.
I have it seen a few times but I have also seen those get pushed out. Unless that associate was like a super star

Very common at my firm with several juniors and mid levels taking advantage of this benefit.
I’ve been thinking about it but lateraled pretty recently so won’t be a good look
As in lateraled within the last year? Dont you have to wait 12 months?

Probably more common than anyone knows because it’s not like it’s publicly announced, but I’ve heard of a couple people in my office that have taken mental health leave over the years. I wouldn’t call it common though (as far as I know).
