How do I bill efficiently when my partner has literal meltdowns whenever there’s even a minor typo in my motions or letters. I’m terrified of minor misspellings when turning things in for his approval so will literally proofread things 3-4 times (doubling the time things take)

Bill as you go. I would include the proofreading in your billing

Ins. carriers will cut your time and your boss will do so too if it’s excessive thus making you an unprofitable hire. Figure out if it’s you that needs to change your writing or if the problem is the boss switch teams / firms.

No the problem isn’t excessive billing. I don’t bill for the proofreading that I need to do in order to avoid typos due to my partners’ reaction.

What's the best way to ask for a pay raise?

When I was headhunted for the job, ESG was a relatively new concept and too few companies hire for related positions. I didn't find any salary range from Glassdoor or anywhere so I had no idea. My fault was I did not ask the HR and just gave my asking salary. When I saw a similar post from my company (I was already hired that time), they were already including the pay range and I realized mine was way below. I'm already 2.8 yrs in the role.
