How do you avoid the “am I next?” feeling of dread when your agency makes layoffs and the tension that comes with it from the rest my team? They just laid off a well liked member of my team spontaneously. I am new and haven’t even really started doing much yet. I’m afraid the rest of my team is going to feel animosity towards me because they will associate me with him being laid off (They let him go in less than a few weeks after I started). I am already having a hard time and this doesn’t help.

Am I more or less likely to be laid off if the economy tanks even more if I just started as an analyst two months ago

On notice period 2 months left and have offer from Infosys with 120% hike.
.NET tech- 3.5 years of experience.(support)
No other offer as of now. Any suggestions on this situation. I am trying in other companies as well.
Can I depend on Infosys that they won't revoke offer or create any issue.

Who is still in denial about a housing correction? The Fed just made another .75% increase. Powell said they won’t stop until inflation is 2%. He also said a recession would be better than the consequences of unchecked inflation. He announced he will bring rates to a “restrictive level” until “the job is done”. He said that labor demand needs to soften (ie: layoffs). He very explicitly said he wants to slash demand and that housing needs a “correction”.

Coworker got fired because they stole my clients! We have a policy stating that the realtor who initiated the contact should be the one closing the deal to give them a fair chance. I feel bad but they should have read the policy...

Took a role out of desperation and it was a big mistake. The firm was toxic and crazy revolving door. After only a few months I was fired "for cause" even though no cause was actually given. Is this the end of my career?

After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). My boss also has me running a retired agents office until a new one is chosen (its an hour away with no pay increase or mileage pay). Also, no benefits! Should I start job searching?
