How do you break from strategy consulting to buyside?

I am currently working as a delivery manager for a data science project where I manage both ML and DE teams. I am not sure what career path should I follow.

Should I move into either a core technical data science/data engineering role or move into a techno-managerial role like a program or project manager? What role would be best in terms of money, growth, and job security?

What other careers do you catch yourself daydreaming about? I, for one, would have loved acting as I loved theater throughout my life but alas fate had other plans. What's yours?

When you look to choosing a position to apply for and lets assume you get to be choosy - will you go for a org with big HR team or smaller HR team? Currently an hrbp for a medium global org with 10 hrbps in the Americas org supporting different groups/ regions like i support canada and a business group - looking at a role where hrbp report to sr hrbp and she reports to Vp of HR. The TA Manager reports to the VP of Hr as well. Sounds like a smaller HR team - are there any benefits to this move?

I'm an immigrant from Brazil and I'm evaluating my civil engineering degree and starting from scratch.
I did internship in civil engineering during the entire period of college and worked another year after graduating, which totaled 6 years of experience. T3 firm reached out re: direct admit to the partnership with some runway to grow the practice. I am at a firm now where there aren’t bright line metrics to make PPMD, but think I could make it in 2-5 years. This would be a step down in brand, but might be better from a WLB and getting to start at partner. Haven’t had firm comp talks yet but range was well north of 50% increase in cash comp from current (plus LT equity, draws, etc). Anyone take $ over brand? what are some traps to watch for?

Looking for an entry level non exempt positions. I've been in and out of both food service and retail for years. I know what I'm worth and I know how strong my work ethic is.
