How do you combat misperceptions among your staff?

I work in a small team covering 3 departments and supervise 5 of the 9 people. And they are very, very opinionated and aren't afraid to speak up, even when they don't have all the information and don't involve their department.

I made a judgement call about staffing yesterday and one of my seniors is kinda throwing a fit. But they don't know the whole plan and it's not really their business.

Advice: had a nice call with a GSD three weeks back, he suggested I connect with a strategy director at the agency. I followed up with both but haven't heard back. Do I nag them again? Is it too late?

Have a really good relationship with current company, but got an amazing offer and very likely gonna leave (signed the offer, waiting for all the background checks to come back). How do you tell your boss you are leaving the company (if boss is not a dick lol) and not ruin relationship?

Put in my notice 2 weeks ago. Last days is this Friday. Partner I work for has been a total dick. Multiple other partners have reached out to say they’re sorry to see me go. Partner I work for has since been a bigger dick. Seriously tempted to tell him off and/or actually be honest in my exit interview with HR. I know that means “burning a bridge”, which is bad. Someone please talk me out of it. Genuinely.

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?
