Burnout is overrated. Just do less, care less, and stop trying to fix every little thing. You’ll feel better instantly.
The burnout bowl might be helpful for suggestions for you OP good luck https://joinfishbowl.com/bowl_td3awqancu
Step one admit that you’re burnt out. Say it out loud to yourself and accept the you may have been burnt out for a while. Step two admit it to your team (if possible) and they will rally and going forward they will “feel ok to admit when they are not feeling ok.” Step three find the energy or at least plot a path towards self care, 4 block meditation etc.
You can’t take care of your team if you can’t take care of yourself.
I agree with telling your team and your manager when you feel burnt out. However, you must set boundaries with your team, your boss, and your family. This was the only way I made it through to the end. Protect your boundaries like you are protecting the entrance of your house from intruders. It is very difficult to manage all three, but you must hold your ground firmly. Part of your boundaries are your expectations. Communicate your expectations clearly to your manager, your team, and your family.
