McKinsey & Company Hey folks!
Was wondering what sort of life sciences projects does usually the Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company take on?
Commercial, access and pricing, M&A, transformation, implementation? (all of them perhaps?)
Basically, what would someone with an LS background be mainly working on in these firms on a day-to-day basis?
Thanks!

Capitalism will do that for you, my friend. Focus on the present parent part.
Based on those in the workforce I wouldn’t be so confident on that. I’d say 90% of those I have managed that haven’t succeeded have come down to attitude / drive issues.
I recalled a podcast talking about tiger parents (I’m not one) but I liked an idea that they made their kids do at least one hard thing. We do this with our kids so if they want to stop xx they have to take on another challenging topic eg a new instrument or a language or … something that requires focused daily practice.
Having meaningful chores is another I have seen parents using but we haven’t been very successful at that one. My kids could play instruments and learned languages but getting them to do dishes or anything like that was harder than we could endure.
Look forward to following others ideas.
