How do you handle pushy co-workers who don't stay in their line and criticize your work or try to hijack it and take over? Do I say something to my manager or keep my chin up and keep rocking it?

Ok, so I messed up. I thought I had pressed hold when I turned to a coworker and said the customer was “one of the rude ones.” …turns out she wasn’t on hold, and heard me. How do I apologize to my boss?

This is twice now in back to back weeks my boss has asked me where the disconnect was in our communications because I didn’t deliver on what “was asked”, even though I know damn well what was asked and what was done were the same thing. I’m not sure if he’s changing the meaning or isn’t communicating what he’s envisioning or what but it’s embarrassing to be called out like that, and to have people think you’re the dumb 23 year old.

If you don’t have a CD above you and you are doing the work, do you just send it off or do you ask other creatives for their take? Seems weird to just do work and present it without a gut check from somewhere.

My boss makes jokes about me being from a different country whenever there is a work meeting or a gathering with coworkers, even though he knows where I am from. This usually occurs when I meet new work-related people or for example if I am in a situation that involves ethnic related subjects.

What is this? This is normal?

The first time I ignored that, but now it has become a pattern and is bothering me now. I am south-American working in the UK.

When you tell your manager you are unhappy and they are excited that you are putting your notice and don't try and make any changes b/c the new person/persons they are lining up will just cleanup and make it better.

Then, they get here and you are left to train them on everything you do and your manager keeps saying "I owe you an apology" because they didn't realize how taxing and mind wrecking most processes you handled were... welcome to corporate

But whenever I’m pull to a new project I secretly hope I don’t get a female lead. 😞 I had some interesting experiences with women leads, which it does not apply to all women!, but I feel a bit hesitant and I feel is ptsd lol how can I overcome this mentality?! With W it was a client interview and the client is one of global leader in financial service and I really like to work with this client.

W's pay is 2-3L higher than A.

This is for Cybersecurity domain where A is comparatively better.
